What We Collect

Mandatory Details

To use ZIMPUDO services, we need:

  • Name, phone number, delivery address - for parcel delivery and collection
  • National ID (where required) - for secure parcel collection and compliance

If you don't provide mandatory information, we may not be able to create your account or deliver/receive your parcels.

Service Data

  • Parcel details, delivery/collection records
  • Payment information

Technical Data

  • Device info, IP address, app logs
  • Geolocation (if you enable it)

Optional Data

  • Email for updates
  • Marketing preferences
  • Feedback and surveys

You can choose not to provide optional information without affecting core services.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Deliver and track parcels securely
  • Process payments and manage your account
  • Prevent fraud and comply with regulations
  • Improve the app and customer experience
  • Send updates or offers (only with your consent)

Sharing

We may share your data with:

  • Trusted partners: Couriers, payment processors, IT providers
  • Regulators or authorities if required by law
  • International partners, but only where there is legal protection or your consent

We keep your information only as long as needed for service delivery, compliance, or legitimate business. For example, transaction records may be retained for up to six (6) years as required by law.

Our services are not for children under 18. Minors may only use ZIMPUDO with guardian consent.
